Good Transfer, Good Show
Really full, airy, well balanced recording.
First set is pretty standard, except for the Bruce tune. I prefer when they played Valley Road.
Victim is really ambient and dark but doesn't make it too deep. I love Touch but it doesn't leave for much exploration after the opening Victim. Playin' is firey with Bruce and Jerry really getting along. Perhaps some of the finest moments come in the Dark Star segment, which I include about 3 minutes of space as part of. Great solo Bruce "piano jock" work with Jer eventually joining before the band picks up the pieces after which they dismantle into a 1990 meltdown jam. The rest of the show is quite ordinary if not uninspired.
Certainly the weakest of the three nights. Most people like Halloween night best. I really think the 29th has the best second set and a killer Let it Grow -> Valley Road with excellent solo Bruce jamming.
Quality transfer of a show that needed some audience air to liven up the vibe. A good show from Europe 90' tour.
